I have an important message for you.

Momma says the dog rescue she volunteers with recently had a request to take on a whole bunch of puppies (10) from some people. They got a male and a female dog a while ago and never spayed or neutered the dogs! These dogs have since had 3 large litters and are having difficulty finding homes for all the puppies. DUH ! They have placed most of the dogs but they still have 10 to find new homes for !!!!!


AND...... the puppies are now 7 months old and could start having puppies of their own. Yikes!


Have you done the math? American Eskimo Dogs are very smart so Casper and I did some multiplying.

Here's what we got:

1 female dog and 1 male dog

and their offspring can

produce 4,374 puppies

in 7 years!

There aren't enough homes for them all.

Spay or neuter your pet!

What those people are doing is not fair to all those puppies.

Momma knows that I would not be happy having litter after litter of puppies. (I live with 2 boy dogs you know.) We are so glad that Momma did the responsible thing by having us spayed and neutered. Momma says that if you can't afford to spay or neuter and vaccinate your pets then you shouldn't have a pet. If you are in that situation, please look into getting financial assistance to have your pet spayed or neutered. Many animal rescues will subsidize low income earners.

Okay so here's a fun video we found on YouTube. It has kitties in it. We like kitties! To chase kitties that is! (Sorry JB). Although Momma won't let us do it. Oh well enjoy and sing along too!
