Foodie Grocery Tag
We got tagged by Blue to do a list of 5 "must have" grocery items for us doggies and 5 must haves for Momma. So here are Momma's must haves:
1. Cheese- cheddar, mozza and especially feta!
2. Clamato juice- great with beer in the summer, vodka the rest of the year and alone anytime! (Oh no, Blue is gonna think Momma is weird. Blue hates Clamato juice -See Blue's hate list)
3. Tomatoes- especially local garden grown.
4. Pasta- any kind
5. Strawberries
And here are us doggies must haves:
1. "Pe-ner" bones- Okay they are actually called Bully Sticks, but we call them "pe-ner bones". If you know where they come from you will know why!
2. Enzadent Chews- good for doggies teeth and yummy!
3. Weiners- raw, used as treats for agility and obedience!
4. Cheese
5. Yogurt
So now we will tag Finnigan and Momma , and Simba, Momma and FF Daddy to do 5 grocery "Must Haves" each for the doggies and 5 for the humans.

It's Family Friday!
So that means one of us other doggies gets to blog rather that Casper. This week it's me Nikki blogging (can't you tell by my pretty pink colors?)
So yesterday I went to the V-E-T. They are very nice there, but you know what they did? They took away 4 of my teethies! Momma says that my teethies needed cleaning real bad and 3 teethies were rotten. ROTTEN - nothing about me is ROTTEN! So teethies went bye -bye yesterday. When Momma picked me up from the V-E-T, she was laughing at me. She said I wasn't myself. ( I ask-who else would I be?) Okay so I was a still a little "under the influence" you might say. They give out good drugs there so doggies are not in any pain. Today I am back to myself- barking and growling and keeping everyone in line. I still won't let Momma look in my mouth and I have to take anti-bark-otics, but I get them with peanut butter! Yummy !! And the anti-bark-otics won't stop me from barking!!

Family Friday!!
Hey doggies,
It's Buddy here. Yesterday was Family Friday but we are it posting today!! Momma says something about work and sleep . I say: "Momma get your priorities straight - THE FIRST FAMILY FRIDAY EVER- AND WE ARE A DAY LATE!!! What will my blogging audience think? They have been waiting breathlessly, or should I say pantlessly for my report on the Superdogs. (Hey doggies -not that kind of 'pantless'. I mean pantless as in how us doggies pant.)
And just so you know, Momma didn't take her camera so we have used pictures from the Superdogs website. Momma you got to start to get it together!!
So we were at a the local Exibition at a special booth for our Agility group, D & S Dogs Of Course. Momma's job was to hand out pamphlets and talk to people about agility classes. My job was to get all the pets and attention possible and to jump up on all the laps that I could. We were right beside the Superdogs show and so lots and lots of people and kids came up to pet me. Lots of people thought I was part of the Superdogs show, but Momma had to go and tell them the truth.
"No, we are here for the agility booth. Are you interested in agility?"
BUT MOMMA , I AM A "SUPER DOG", DON'T YOU KNOW THAT? HUMMM!
We got to watch 2 Superdogs shows. They did all sorts of fun stuff- high jump , long jump, racing each other running obstacle courses, and a game that was kinda like Musical Chairs, but was actually Muscial Dots. There were these big dots on the floor and the dogs and people had to walk around the outside of a line. Then when the music stopped the dogs had to run and lie down on one of the dots. The people couldn't go beyond the line. Of course there was one less dot that there was dogs.and one dog would be eliminated each time. It was really funny to see all the dogs scrambling and the people trying to get the dogs to go lie down on a dot.
The Superdogs I recognized were: Pot Roast, (the English Bulldog), Phyllis Diller, Earmuffs the(papillion) and Streak, who was in the Superdogs movie.
There were also Superdogs from Saskatoon too: Brazen (a brindle mix), Sting (Dutch Shepherd), Charlie (black standard poodle), Sass (pug), and a few more too. Anyways, I know the ones from Saskatoon so it was very exciting to see them in the show.
I wanted to go up after the show to sniff noses and butts with the dogs, but Momma said "No". I guess that was for the children, and I had to get back to my job of being petted and fussed over while Momma talked to the people interested in agility. It was a ruff job but someone had to do it ;)
So to make me feel better Momma bought me a Superdogs bandana and a Superdogs leash. (Okay, so she also bought bandana's for Nikki and Casper too and we all have to share the leash- but don't tell them that !! )
So that'd my story of seeing the Superdogs. I was only there for 4 hours, but I was so tired afterwards that I slept and slept. Have any of you doggies or your people seen the Superdogs?

Things I Like.....
I got tagged by Bernard the French Bulldog to answer questions on the things that I like. So here are my answers to the questions.
1. Where is your favorite place to sleep?
Well that depends. At night I sleep on a cushion on the floor at the foot of Momma's bed. During the day I like to sleep in the green chair or on the living room rug or sometimes in my crate. By evening when I'm really tired and Momma isn't in bed yet, I'll sleep on the living room rug till Momma goes to bed then I got to my spot on the cushion at the foot of Momma 's bed.
2. Is there any specific trick your human makes you do to get treats?
Yes, she makes me do a bunch of tricks for one treat. Can you believe it? First I have to sit , then shake a paw (right paw) and then shake the other paw (left paw) and then lie down and roll over (to the right) and then roll over (to the left) and then I get the treat! That 's alot of tricks for just one treat!
3. If you could spend an entire day doing anything at all what would you do and with whom?
I would like to eat as much people food as I wanted. It's my favorite you know and Momma hardly lets me have any. In fact she has me on a diet. Can you believe it?
4. What is your favorite toy?
Any stuffy that I can de-stuff.
5. If you could change one thing in your life what would it be?
See number 3
So now I'm going to tag Chili , Finnigan and Sidka to answer the questions on the things that they like.

Little Dog With Lots of Courage Saves Baby
According to Monty Long of Masonville, the family’s 5-pound dog jumped in between Long’s young grandson and snake when the two got too close.
"She just knew, she knew the baby was in danger," Grandpa Long said. "He didn't know what the rattle sound was, he didn't realize the snake was there.”
The dog got bit and required treatment.
"There is a puncture above her eye," Long said. "The one is the scar there, snake actually slit her head. Her head was like a grapefruit."
Long eventually killed the snake which measured more than 3 feet long.

Were Back!!!
We're back from the lake. We were at Gramma and Grampa's cabin at Waskesiu Lake in Prince Albert National Park.
We all had a great time. We saw animals like deer and elk.
We went swimming in the lake (Nikki hated it), and we went on tons of walks along the beach.
And we sure slept alot. That fresh northern air just tired us right out!
It was so much fun !!
