How cold is it?

Question: How cold is it in Saskatchewan?

Answer: Really really cold!




So cold that boiling water instantly freezes and vaporizes!

WERE FREEZING OUR %#@%'s OFF

OMD OMD OMD It's cold out tonight!

Momma just got home. It's so cold the car made funny noises all the way home and the car doors won't even shut properly.

So she checked the temperature. It said -39 C

And with windchill it's -49 C (-56 F)
You gotta count windchill cause the wind is @#$@#%$ cold!

Further information indicated this:

EXTREMELY COLD. Frostbite likely. Exposed skin can freeze within 1 minute. Outdoor activity becomes dangerous.

So what did Momma do ? She made us go outside to pee!!!!!

That's it! Were done with Canada! Two of us doggies may be American Eskimos but I tell ya we weren't made for this weather!

We are revolting!
We wanna move!


Hummm........ Let's see...... California, Florida, Arizona, Hawaii........ they all sound good right now!

Weather Warning

Guess what happened here? All our snow had melted and it was getting dry. Momma was happy 'cause there were no more wet muddy pawsies tracking mud into the house.

(Don't know who does that???)

We were all waiting for the grass to start turning green and all the flowers to start coming up. We were watching all the other doggies like Blue and Princess Isis who are posting lovely spring pictures of green grass and flowers. And then guess what?

This is what happened here.

OMD!! the Weatherman said we were gonna get 24 inches of the white stuff!

24 inches !!! We were worried for a while there. Buddy is the tallest of us three and he is only 16 inches to the shoulder!

Here Nikki ventures out to test the snow.

Luckily the good ole Canadian weatherman was wrong again and we only got 4 inches and most of that has melted away already

Nikki and I prefer not to get our pawsies wet so we are hanging out up on the deck where it is drier.

Now once it all melts we get to play in the mud again! Well really its only Buddy who likes to play in the mud.

Did you know that Momma calls him Muddy Buddy?

Playing At The Off Leash Park

Hey doggies,

Did we ever have fun today! We just got back from the Off Leash Park. It warmed up today to about -10 C (14 F). It's been so cold here lately -30 to -40 C (or -22 F to -40 F ) for you American doggies. We haven't been out to play at the park for awhile. Momma finds the cold air bothers her asthma and us doggies find that our pawsies freeze when it is too cold!

But today it was sunny and nice out so off we went. We were so so so excited- Momma says we were extremely hyper!!! Barking and jumping up and running in circles once we figured out where we were going. Well you shoulda seen us. We ran and ran and ran and ran and then we chased and chased and chased each other all around the park. We would run away from Momma until we couldn't see her any more and then we could hear her call and we would come running back like the wind as fast as we could, 'cause we know Momma will give us each a treat if we run back really fast. And then Momma would say " Go run" and off we would go chasing each other once again and runing as far as we could go. It was pawsome!!

And now that we are home, we are all ready for a long snooze, then we will eat supper and we might even get to go to PetSmart tonight! We have a gift card to use. Well it was actually given to Momma, but we know all the stuff bought at PetSmart will be for us.

Hey doggies, what toys and treats should we buy? Any suggestions?
