WHAT IN THE H*LL IS GOING ON AT THE TORONTO HUMANE SOCIETY?

Can this really be true?

A so-called "Humane" Society that:

-Leaves animals to live in their own excretement for days or weeks.

-Leaves dogs and cats agonizing in pain with no treatment.

-Leaves sick animals to die in their cages agonizing for days.

-Where staff members were being bullied and fired when they tried to do something about the terrible things that were happening.

-Where Vets were not being allowed to treat or euthanize animals that were clearly in pain.

-Where police conducted a search warrant yesterday and found a mummified cat (named Casper) that had been caught in a live cage in the ceiling. It would have died of starvation and had been left there for about a year. See this at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0aZd0QDaVk

-Where management staff of the Toronto Humane Society are being arrested and taken away in handcuffs for cruelty to animals. Here are the photos:

Unbelievably it is true. See the story is at:

We are disgusted, appalled and extremely saddened for the animals that have suffered in the hands of these horrible people.

Watch this video. Yes it's sad and it made me ball like a baby, but you need to see to believe it.

Happy Tails- Our Dog Rescue Video :)

Momma volunteers for a doggie rescue and we also fosters dogs. She made this video to show stories about some of the dogs that have been rescued and how their lives have changed.

Some of the doggies in this video are ones that we actually fostered ourselves: Meeko the American Eskimo, Winnie the German Shepherd cross, Joey the blonde mixed breed dog, Sunny Bunny the yellow lab cross and Ditto the German Short-Haired Pointer.

There are also other dogs in the video that stayed at other foster homes too.

When Momma becomes sad or annoyed or disillusioned with the frustrations and politics of dog rescue, she watches this video a couple times and she feels it's all worth it.

Turn on your speakers so you can hear the music and enjoy!

Wasn't that cool? Doesn't it make you happy that all these beautiful dogs were rescued and their lives were saved.

Woofs from Casper, Buddy, Nikki and foster Eskies Jazzy and Bailey-yup we are a 5 dog (nut)house for awhile!
