MEEKO'S BACK WITH US

Hi DWBers,

Yes, it's me Meeko.
Some of you are very astute and have noticed Casper signing my name once again on the posts he has made on your bloggies. Yes I'm back!!

I am once again hanging out with Casper, Buddy, Nikki and Foster Momma. I was adopted on a temporay basis for a trial period. However it didn't go through for several reasons. Foster Momma does not want to go into all the details here as the internet makes it a small world, but she will let some of you know if you e-mail us directly.

Anyways the rescue group that owns me decided to withdraw the offer to adopt me out to that particular person.

Several things did not go well and now that I am back with Foster Momma she is saying I am quite misbehaved.

What?

Me?

Misbehaved?

Could it be true?

What do you mean ?

Apparently I'm now doing a whole bunch of things that I didn't do when Foster Momma had me before.

What do you mean I'm not supposed to do the following things:

I'm not supposed to pull on the leash?

I'm not supposed to jump up all over people? (Well I used to do that a bit before, you know)

I'm not supposed to ignore Foster Momma when she says 'sit' ?

I'm not supposed to take a flying leap on to the back of the couch and run across the back of Foster Momma's neck then jump down and continue racing on my way? (but it's so fun!!)

I'm not supposed to poop in the house?

Hmmmmmm...........

Okay so this might explain why since I've been back it feels like drill camp!

To end this behavior Foster Momma has implemented the following:

-A crating schedule

-NILIF (Nothing In life Is Free)

-obedience practice

-socialization to other dogs.

Foster Momma, it's just that all the moving from one place to another and different people looking me and different rules have me so confused....

I promise to be a good Eskie and work on better behavior from now on!

WE ARE TELLING ON MOMMA! SHE'S BEEN BAD!

Our Momma's been bad lately! So we are telling on her.

This week we've had no walkies, no backyard playtime, no agility practice, limited blogging time... Hey Momma what's going on?

Momma says it's because of her new job and it's making her stressed.

We say doesn't matter!!!

'JOB SCHMOB'..... that's what we say.

And this is what we think of that new job @%#%$%@# !!!!

We need our walkies, playtime, blogging time and agility practice (especially on those weave poles!)

What do you doggies think? What can we do to get our Momma away from those long hours at that new job?

AGILITY WEEKEND FUN!!!!

This weekend I competed in a Canadian Kennel Club agility trial. I did very well and didn't even do any zoomies or run away from Momma! She was so thrilled with my performance.

I even got ribbons! Two 1st place ribbons!!

1st place & Qualifying in Standard Novice Selected 12 inches and 1st place & Qualifying in Jumpers With Weaves Novice Selected 12 inches.

Here is my picture with the agility judge holding my ribbons and me and Momma. The judge and Momma are shy about showing there faces here but I'm not!

Tomorrow we have another agility trial. Buddy and I will be both competing. FUN FUN FUN!!

SWAT TEAM KILLS MAYOR'S DOGS IN MISTAKEN DRUG RAID

Here the mayor talks about how his 2 black labs were killed by the SWAT team in a mistaken identity drug raid. In another speech that we saw, he has talked about how he and his wife don't have kids and these 2 dogs were their children.

We also found out that the SWAT Team not only did not have a proper warrent they also did no investigation prior to this act to ensure they were going to the correct address!

FINALLY!!! PICTURES OF THE LAKE

Hi all doggies, kitties and hammies,

Sorry we are so slow at getting our lake pictures posted. Momma keeps saying something about work!! Work Shmurk!!! That's what we have to say!

(What do you mean that's how she keeps us in kibble and treats?? Really?? Okay.... I guess it's ok if she works ;) )

We went to Waskesiu Lake at Prince Albert National Park It was beautiful!!!

Here is where we stayed.

Nikki is that you peeking out?

We saw lots of different animals.

There was a Momma deer and 2 fawns that came into the campground everyday.

Nikki made sure to bark, bark ,bark to keep them away. Silly Nikki!

There was also a momma elk and a baby elk.

Our Momma was to slow to get a picture of the elk baby but she did get this picture of the momma elk.

There were lots of these crawling around too.

We accidently trampled one that crawled into our x-pen. Oops!

Momma took me to the beach with everyone else.

Buddy and Nikki had to stay home.

She said Nikki barks to much and Buddy runs away too much.

Dogs weren't supposed to be at the beach but I was very quiet and well behaved, except for shaking off all the water on me and getting everyone wet! Not my fault-Momma made me go in the water :(

Momma forgot to bring my lifejacket.

I'm not a very good swmmer and don't I really like being in the water, so they made a raft for me for float on.

I started to get a burn on my neck so I went into the shade.

See - my neck is pink!

Just kidding- the color from my red collar started to run so I had a pink ring around my neck for a few days. That's ok. I am secure on my masculinity as a boy dog!

Here is Buddy hanging out in the x-pen. He doesn't need a pillow. He just leans again the wire.

And here's Buddy after a walk. He looks tired!

Nikki went on a walk to the doggie beach.

But she lied down and refused to even get her pawsies wet. Momma didn't make HER go in.

Here we wait as all the 2 leggeds seem to be packing things up.

Are we REALLY leaving?

We are so sad to leave the lake!

But we will be back again next year!

Hey doggies, We overheard Momma saying we are going to the lake.
