Belated Congrats To Uno- # 1 At Westminister

We are a little late on this but we've been meaning to send BIG CONGRATULATIONS !!!!
to "Ch K-Run's Park Me In First," a.k.a. "Uno," the 15 Inch Beagle, who won Best In Show at the Westminister Kennel Club Dog Show . This is the first time in 132 years that a Beagle has won Best In Show!

Playing At The Off Leash Park

Hey doggies,

Did we ever have fun today! We just got back from the Off Leash Park. It warmed up today to about -10 C (14 F). It's been so cold here lately -30 to -40 C (or -22 F to -40 F ) for you American doggies. We haven't been out to play at the park for awhile. Momma finds the cold air bothers her asthma and us doggies find that our pawsies freeze when it is too cold!

But today it was sunny and nice out so off we went. We were so so so excited- Momma says we were extremely hyper!!! Barking and jumping up and running in circles once we figured out where we were going. Well you shoulda seen us. We ran and ran and ran and ran and then we chased and chased and chased each other all around the park. We would run away from Momma until we couldn't see her any more and then we could hear her call and we would come running back like the wind as fast as we could, 'cause we know Momma will give us each a treat if we run back really fast. And then Momma would say " Go run" and off we would go chasing each other once again and runing as far as we could go. It was pawsome!!

And now that we are home, we are all ready for a long snooze, then we will eat supper and we might even get to go to PetSmart tonight! We have a gift card to use. Well it was actually given to Momma, but we know all the stuff bought at PetSmart will be for us.

Hey doggies, what toys and treats should we buy? Any suggestions?

We will let you know what we get. We only have one thing to say.

As many of you know, Baby has been missing for days now.

Her family and friends have discovered that she was stolen and the people are refusing to give her back. We keep checking back to Baby and Boy's blog to find out the current news. We are wishing and praying and have our paws crossed for Baby to be safe and come home soon!

A Valentine Card and Valentine's Pawty Fun!!!

Asta sent us this bootiful Valentine's Day card! Thanks Asta!!





The Valentine's Pawty was fabulous. I went with my bootiful date Amber- Mae Solid Gold Dancer. Wow-wee!! Didn't she look gweat!




Buddy, being the playdog that he is went around getting valentine kisses from all the bootiful girlie dogs.

Who did he get kisses from? He won't tell, but it was lots of pretty girlie doggies. He says if the girlie doggies want to tell that's just fine with him! In fact they can kiss him again on top of this page.

Nikki had a great time too. She didn't find her Valentine love, but had a great time. Asta took pictures of the weekend. Can you find the picture of us sledding?

What a wonderful weekend! Now we are going to have a rest.

A Valentine's Pawty And Maybe A Date?

It's Casper here. We are all getting ready for the Valentine's Pawty at Koobies's place.

We've booked onto Aire Ruby and are all ready to go. Here I am in my Valentine outfit. What do you think?

Buddy is a bit of a playdog. So, he is planning to see how many pretty girlie doggies he can kiss.



Nikki is all dressed up too. She is hoping to find the love of her life at the Valentine's Pawty. Wouldn't that be rowmantic? Maybe she will meet some handsome doggie who will sweep her off of all 4 paws. She certainly looks pwetty!

More About Poop, Another Agility Trial, and Having The Poop Scared Out Of Me

Hey Doggies,

Buddy reporting here,

Well last weekend was very interesting. We went back to the same city for another agility trial.
This time we didn't stay in a hotel. Momma said we were too loud last time, so we drove there, did the agility and then drove back all in one day. It was tiring, but Momma said it was better than last time because that time we kept her up half the night anyways due to our need to guard Momma and bark and growl at all potential noises. ( Huh, I don't think we were THAT bad!!)

Nikki came along to keep us company this time. Nikki only takes agility classes but she doesn't like to compete. She gets really nervous. Maybe she is picking up on Momma nerves at competitions? After one jump she will either sit down refusing to do anything for Momma or she trots off the course. I guess Momma figures that it costs enough money to enter 2 dogs in trials and that she won't push Nikki to trial if she doesn't like it. However Nikki does like to attend agility classes so she does do that and she comes to most agility trials to bark for us.

Well since we were in the same horse riding barn, I was beside myself with glee 'cause I could smell the horse poop again! They had cleaned it off the the course area, but I just knew they must have missed some, so I kept going off course to the back area in search of horse poop. As requested by Comet and BLU here is what I was looking for

Don't tell Casper that I posted this picture on his blog as he would be very mad at me and he may even restrict my blogging privileges. However I can always sneak on to blog. Here is what Casper is doing now.

Back to my story. Well apparently Momma was not impressed with my antics and little did I know she had told the judge that if I took off to the back area that they should scare me off. Well of course I went off course in search of poop and all of a sudden this CRAZY LADY came running at me, yelling , arms flailing all over. It was SCARY. I tell ya I went running back to Momma so fast and Momma says my eyes were WHITE and as big as SAUCERS. I stayed with Momma and did the whole rest of the course as she wanted me too. However I thought I detected a hint of laughter in Momma's face and voice so afterward I checked it out and found out that yes indeed Momma had set me up! Bad Momma! Bad, bad Momma!

So I gave her the "cold shoulder" / "doggie sneer"/ "I'm mad at you " look for awhile but I've forgiven her now.

So anyways that was our weekend. How was yours?

Being Goofy At The Agility Trial

Hi Doggies,
It's Buddy here,



Just thought I would let you know about the agility trial we went to last weekend. We stayed in a Travel Lodge hotel.



Momma was not all that happy with us at night time 'cause we felt the need to growl and bark at every little noise we heard. We were just protecting Momma in a strange place, but we kept on waking Momma up ! Oops

I had great fun running "off course" and sniffing everything that I wasn't supposed to including a tractor that was parked in behind a fenced off area. Momma wasn't to happy with me. LOL The trial was in a riding barn and there were great smells of horses and horse's poop which I paid more attention to than the agility course. Oops ;)

Casper had a few zoomies too. Momma says the was a good "learning experience". Whatever that means? We did have lots of fun. Momma's having a bit of a problem with the camera so we have no pictures right now but may get some this weekend.


Nikki stayed at Jo's place while we were gone . She had a great time playing with all the toys and other dogs. She doesn't do agility competition, just fun agility classes.


We are going back this coming Sat. for another agility trial. Yay !! So I get to sniff at more horse poop!! Yay! And Momma is probably going to chase after me and try to get me to stop. It will be great fun! LOL We are probably just going for the day and not staying in a hotel this time and Nikki might come too just to keep us company.

We will be sure to let you know about all our adventures when we get back. Momma is hoping for some better agility runs, while I just want to enjoy the simple things in life - like sniffing more horse poop ;)
